CroChey Origin Story

The story of CroChey began in 2023 when I decided to teach myself to crochet as a New Year's resolution. I've always been crafty, making things for myself and occasionally as gifts, so this seemed like a reasonable hobby. One day, while looking for crochet inspiration on Pinterest, I discovered projects using chunky tube yarn and decided to make a finger-crocheted chunky bag in my favorite color. After gathering supplies and watching YouTube videos, I created the bag and was obsessed with how unique it was.

What I didn’t expect was nearly everyone in my personal and work life to be so intrigued by it and wondering where I bought it from. Upon letting them know that I made it, everyone - and I mean everyone - was shocked and started encouraging me to sell them!

I had never ever thought of creating my own business, but the idea of people actually liking my bags was enough to fill my head with inspiration and plans for what else to make.

I look forward to bringing many more ideas to life and launching more bags soon!

Shipping

All bags are hand crafted in Sarasota, FL and made to order. Please expect a 4-6 week turnaround time for your bag to ship.

Shipping is available throughout the US.

Washable

CroChey Bags may be washed by hand with a chlorine-free detergent and air dried on a flat surface.
